Sideswipe could only nod to his brother. "I don't understand why she wanted to do the watch in the first place? I mean she's getting really good at sniping and she caught me with a paint ball at a 10 mile mark and boy did it hurt I think she ask Percy to flash freeze it." he said.

Rachel helped clear the burnt wood out of the way and sighed. "Sorry I didn't see them sooner sir" She said.

Optimus looked towards his new recruit as he shook his head. "You are still in training, so this was new for you. I won't hold you at fault" Optimus said.

Rachel nodded as she saluted. "Thank you sir. I will try better" Rachel said

Optimus nodded. "You will over time, you don't become a soldier in a week. Though you are well trained for a young Spark" optimus said as he walked into the base. "Get some recharge for now...you have the rest of the night off' he said

Rachel saluted Optimus before walking into the base. She passed Sideswipe as she was heading to her quarters for the night.

Sideswipe looked to Rachel and soon started following. "Babe wait up whats wrong?" he asked.

Rachel stopped then turned on her heels to see Sideswipe was following. "I am fine Sideswipe..just a little tired from tonight's events." She said.

Sideswipe pulled Rachel to his chassis and kissed her passionately on the lips before answering. "you know you can trust me Rachel. You can tell me anything"he said.

Rachel smiled as she kissed him back. Her body heating up slightly from the passion of the kiss. "I know I can Sideswipe...I love you and I don't want to lose you because they turn me into a decepticon" Rachel said.

Sideswipe looked into Rachel's optics. "They will never turn you into a decepticon. They will have to go through me before they could do that" Sideswipe said.

Rachel smiled as she looked into Sideswipes light blue optics. " Thank you Sideswipe" She said.

Sideswipe smiled as he let go of Rachel so they could go into her bedroom. "No problem Rachel. I will always protect you" Sideswipe said.

Rachel's spark at that moment felt like it was going to jump out of her chassis. She smiled at what Sideswipe had said then nodded before closing the door behind them.

Sideswipe looked at Rachel and could tell some thing was up. "Rachel whats up you look a little over heated" Sideswipe said.

Rachel grinned playfully as her hand trailed from his jaw line down his cheek plate. Its soon went down to his chassis were she toyed with the sensitive wires under the armor.

Sideswipe let out a light hiss as his vents started to kick in. "Whoa babe...we talked about this remember. We are going to take this slow" Sideswipe said as he backed up from Rachel. ~Hey Doc bot Rachel's acting weird again~

Ratchet sighed as he stopped what he was doing to answer the com call. ~Weird how?~

~She's over heated...and well she's trying to get at me~ Sideswipe said.

~Ok...get at you how. Did you do some thing to anger her as for overheated that comes with anger~ Ratchet said.

~Not Anger over heated I know what that looks like doc...she's trying to get in my pants as humans say~ Sideswipe explained nervously.

That little bit of information got Ratchets attention. ~Ok...I will have to check some thing but i will be right back~ Ratchet said.

Sideswipe sighed. ~Okay but hurry doc~

Ratchet looked over Rachel's medical records then sighed. ~She's in heat~ He replied

Sideswipes optic widend as he kept Rachel at arms length. ~Ok how long till she calms down out of it?~ Sideswipe asked knowing how femmes got during their heat cycles.

Ratchet sighed. ~I don't know Sideswipe she used to be human...I mean if it were one of our femmes I would say in a couple of hours if they stayed away from any male on base. But since this femme used to be human. I don't know either way I'll come by with a tranq to put her in stasis for a few hours" Ratchet said.

Rachel looked at Sideswipe with a playful grin as she pinned him to the ground.

Sideswipe looked up at Rachel then sighed. ~Never mind Ratchet...she's just playing she's got me pinned she's not in heat well not fully anyways I think she's transitioning~ Sideswipe said.

Ratchet nodded. ~Bring her by none the less she may have some of her human attributes in her systems~

Sideswipe sighed. ~Sure thing Doc~ He said. "Come on Rachel, youre going to go see the doc bot again" he said.

Rachel stood up. "Why I'm fine, well be sides the headache and the stomach achs i'm fine. But that comes to me every month so i'll live" She said.

"Every month?" Sideswipe asked confused.

"Yeah human females get their periods every month...doesn't that happen to femmes?" Rachel asked.

"Oh boy looks like the docs got some teaching to do...no our femmes go through a heat cycle basically its much more complicated then a menstation for humans" Sideswipe explained thanking primus he actually listened in health class.
