Chapter 40

~flash back start~ At the Decepticons base Skywarp stalked the halls looking for his brothers.

Starscream was looking over the plans he'd been working on to capturing both femmes Silver dust and Ravena. "What do you need Skywarp i'm busy...so should you be." Starscream said.

Skywarp looked at Starscream then sighed. "We haven't flown together as a family in some time brother. There are no humans on this rock any more, we have free reign, Yeah I understand that the autobots are here but. Who's gonna stop us if were just flying" Sky warp said.

Starscream turned looked to his brother. "Im trying to help our race flourish little brother. I understand what you're speaking about but i'm just busy" Starscream said as he went back to his work.

Skywarp sighed before turning on his heels and walked out of his brothers room and went to find Thundercracker whom was having alittle facing time with bombshell one of the femmes they'd recuited. He walked towards the launch bay and took off to do some flying of his own. ~Damn brothers they don't have any time for family any more~ the mech thought to him self as he started towards his favorite spot which was the cliffs over looking the ocean. ~Flash back end~



Silver dust looked at Skywarp then sighed. "So even Decepticons have family issues who knew...my parents well my adoptive parents had a fight about me today. They are going to have a sparkling and my father has been paying more attention to me then my mother. So why are you here if you dont' mind me asking since you asked why I am here" Silver dust explained.

"That's fair, Ah...so Ironhide's gonna have a kid huh...well thats new. As for why I'm here my brothers have been to busy with their own lives to actually care about familyf or once. I mean we have all the time to fly all we want. When we fly together it strenghtens our bond as brothers as a trine. You wouldn't understand that since you're not a flyer but you understand the bond with your'e fellow autobots" Sky warp said.

Silver dust nodded. "Yeah I know. I was so excited when I heard he and Chromia were going to have a sparkling it meant i was going to be an elder sibling again. But now it seems they don't want me anymore since they have their own sparkling now. And I sort of understand, I feel a strong bond when i'm with Ironhide he's been like a father to me all this time" Silver dust said.

Sky warp looked at Silver dust then shook his head. "I know Ironhide...he may be an autobot but he would never abandoned a kid trust me." Sky warp said.

Silver dust's optics widened to what Skywarp had said. "Did I just hear you just give an autobot a compliment" Silver dust said.

Skywarp growled. "He's a warrior that much I can appreciate but I only give compliments rarely to autobots so be lucky its not an insult to you're precious father" Sky warp said.

Silver dust looked at Skywarp. "Why does starscream want us so bad besides for breeding purposes? by the way good luck getting Ravena now. She's spark bound now and you know what that means" Silver dust said.

"Yes I do it means when her spark rate goes up Sideswipes alerted to it but that will end after about a year" Sky warp said.

Silver dust nodded as she looked up at the sky. "I'll only go back if they come find me first. Knowing Sunstreaker he'll tell Ironhide I left and which will get them fighting again" Silver dust said.

Ironhide and Chromia both were out searching for Silver dust. "Silver Dust where are Ya girl." Ironhide called out.

Silver dusts sensors picked up on Ironhides vocalizer as well as the roar of Chromia's vehicle mode. Her spark hammered in her chassis. ~ They both came looking for me~ she thought to her self.

Sky warp grinned. "See told you, if you want to talk some more just leave an encrypted message on the seekers channel if you don't know what that is try asking Wild Gale...or Wild heart" Sky warp said as he jumped off the cliff and took off back to base.

Ironhide saw the con take off and saw Silver dust standing there. "Are you alright Sil?" Ironhide asked.

"Why do you care...I heard why you two were fighting about. Ratchet and Sideswipe were talking about it with Ravena. " Silver dust asked.

Chromia transformed. "Its not that we don't love you Silver dust we do more then you'll ever know. You are our daughter and will always be so. It's just that with a sparkling on the way. Ironhide needs to pull back from his training duties, If you'd stayed and let us explain" Chromia said.

"Explain what Chromia?" Silver dust asked.

"That You're going to be taking over as CQC instructor until the sparklings born. Next to me you're a qualified instructor, heck most of the newbies are still scared of you" Ironhide said.

Silver dust laughed as tears rolled down her cheeks. "I thought you were going to give me up" Silver dust said.

Ironhide walked over to Silver dust and pulled her to him. "I would never abandoned you Silver dust, you may not be blood related but you are my daughter, like chromia says you will always be our daughter and a very good elder sibling for the sparkling" Ironhide said.

Chromia nodded. "I'm sorry we frightened you Silver dust....and do you know why Sideswipe and Ravena fought?" Chromia asked.

"Some thing about Sideswipe not understanding about the human marriage custom. I set him straight on that and turns out he's a little scared of making an aft out of himself infront of her parents" Silver dust said not giving up the fact that Sideswipe and Ravena were now spark bonded.

"Why....oh dear they didn't" Chromia said.

Ironhide looked at Chromia then thought about why would they get married. "That was quick....didn't Ratchet tell Ravena she's to young to spark bond?" Ironhide asked.

Silver dust nodded. "yeah but dad think of it she almost died...twice she didn't want to live with out Sideswipe in her life. Their fight was a result of Ravena's emotions going a little high" Silver dust said.

Ironhide nodded. "Come on kiddo lets go home and who was the flyer I saw" Ironhide asked.

"Sky warp I scared him off though" Silver dust lied lightly not wanting them to know that they were talking and still gonna talk when they could get away from their respective bases.

Back at the decepticon base which was now made out from a cave that was near the coast landed near the landing strip. "I'm back brothers" He called out

"Where did you go... there's nothing out there to shoot no humans to terrorize" Starscream said.

" I went to the cliffs there are still animals in the ocean we can shoot at" Skywarp said while rolling his optics.

Starscream looked at Skywarp then nodded. "That is true" Starscream said.

At the Autobots base Ravena looked to see Silver dust coming in with Ironhide and Chromia. "Where'd you go Sil, you got us worried" Ravena said.

Silver dust looked at Ravena. "I went to the cliffs you know where we went diving?" Silver dust said

"yeah i know the cliffs" Ravena said as she walked over to Silver dust.

Silver dust nodded as she hugged Ravena before looking over her shoulder to seeing Sunstreaker.

"Hey Sunstreaker" Silver dust said.

Sunstreaker looked at Ravena. "Can you give me some time with Silver dust please" Sunstreaker asked lightly.

Ravena nodded as she patted Silver dust on the shoulder plate. "Give me a call later if you want to talk you know where i'll be" Ravena said.

Silver dust nodded. "Is Ratchet still mad at you and Sideswipe?" Silver dust asked.

"Oh yeah it'll be weeks before he'll calm down from that" Ravena said as she walked toward her fathers medical lab. "Hey dad i'm here Silver dust is fine...if you were going to ask that" Ravena said.

Ratchet looked at his daughter. "Thats good...I can only think what might have happened to her and you if the situation was switched" Ratchet said.

Ravena smiled she could tell that Ratchet cared for Silver dust as well. " I'm just glad she's safe...she's talking to Sunstreaker at the moment" Ravena said.

Ratchet looked at Ravena. "Thats good, but i just don't hope they don't do what you and Sideswipe did. I mean Ravena yes you are 18 years old in human terms but even then you're still to young. She's two years younger then you are" Ratchet explained.

"I think Sunstreaker knows that and dad don't punish Sideswipe I pushed him into it. I mean the feelings are mutual and as was us spark bonding but still. He was going to tell me to wait. He knew you'd be mad at him if we'd done that sooner" Ravena said.

In the rec room Sunstreaker looked at Silver dust then held her to his chassis. "Don't ever take off like that you scare the pit out of me and possibly every bot on base. I love you Silver dust. I don't mind saying that cause thats how I feel for you. With out you I'm just as my brother says a grumpy stick in the mud bot" Sunstreaker said.

Silver dust's optics widened when she heard that. She loved him to its just that she didn't know how to act upon those feelings. She was educated yes but she was still shy around that subject.


"You don't need to give me an answer, I understand you are probably still a little mad at me for telling Ironhide you ran off" Sunstreaker said.

Silver dust shook her head. "I'm not mad its just that, I'm just not used to you saying that you love me. I'm not that beautiful Sunstreaker" She said.

Sunstreaker lifted Silver dust's chin with his finger so he could look into her optics. "Don't you even doubt you're self. You are the most beautiful femme i've ever seen." Sunstreaker said as he places his lip plates over hers lightly to give her a kiss.

Silver dust's cheek plates heated but she didn't pull away.

Sunstreaker pulled away after about a minute, he still looking into Dusty's optics.

Silver dust blinked while still blushing that was until she saw Ironhide who was redder then his armor was. "Sunstreaker?" Silver dust said.

Sunstreaker looked at Silver dust. "Yes my lovely" He said.

"Run...and Fast cause Ironhide's right behind you" Silver dust said as she pointed in his direction.

Sunstreaker looked back and saw Ironhide apporaching at a fast speed and he took off leaving a skid mark on the floor. "OOOOOH SCRAP" he yelled as it echoed through the whole base.

Ravena and Ratchet heard this both poking there head out of the medical lab seein sunstreaker race past while Ironhide chasing him with his blaster out. "Oh geeze he didnt'" Ravena said.

"GIT BACK HERE!!!! SO I CAN USE YOU'RE AFT AS TARGET PRACTICE" Ironhide yelled.

Chromia sighed when she heard that. She knew exactly who Ironhide was going after and didn't step in.

Ravena saw the look on Sunstreakers face then smiled. "They actually kissed." Ravena said as she looked towards the rec room only knowing that Silver dust was still standing there in shock.

"HOw do you know they didn't do any thing crazy?" Ratchet asked.

"Cause Ironhide wouldn't be chasing him if that happend father...Ironhide would shoot on the spot you know that" Ravena said.

Ratchet thought then nodded. His daughter was right about his old friend. If Sunstreaker and Silver dust had spark bonded with out him knowing well there would be a deep fried Sunstreaker staining the rec room floor at this moment. "You are right Ravena...now for our lesson" Ratchet said as he ushered Ravena back into the room.
